Job Description:
As an Experienced Medical/Surgical Nurse with Cornerstone Medical Recruitment, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical and surgical units. Your duties will include:
- Providing individualized patient care plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery.
- Monitoring and documenting patient conditions and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Administering medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Educating patients and families about health conditions, surgical procedures, and recovery plans.
- Ensuring adherence to healthcare policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays (penalties apply).
