Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Chemotherapy Unit team at Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. Salary Information

The successful candidate will receive a salary ranging from $84,870 to $107,279 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Part-time positions are also available, with the possibility of adjusting salary according to actual hours worked.

About the Role

This is a multiple positions part-time vacancy, offering flexible working arrangements. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. They will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, adhering to evidence-based practices and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, prioritizing their needs and comfort during chemotherapy treatment
  • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. A current practicing certificate is also required. In addition, candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
