Job Overview

A senior technical role is available for an experienced engineer to lead well planning, design, and execution from construction through to handover.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement well drilling and completion programs based on geological and engineering data.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance throughout operations.
  • Analyze well performance and recommend optimization strategies.
  • Evaluate risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 5-15 years' experience in drilling and/or completions within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven expertise in well design, casing, fluids, and well control.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and advanced completion methods.
  • Proficiency with industry software and engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Australian working rights required.
  • Professional Engineer certification preferred.
