Well Engineering Expert

We are seeking an experienced Well Engineering Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and planning well drilling and completion programs based on geological and engineering data.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in petroleum, mechanical, or related engineering discipline and at least 5-15 years' experience in drilling and/or completions within the oil & gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and plan well drilling and completion programs">
  • Support the execution of drilling and workover activities">
  • Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance throughout operations">
  • Monitor well performance and recommend optimisation strategies">
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare contingency plans">
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align project outcomes">
  • Generate technical documentation and post-activity reporting">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline">
  • 5-15 years' experience in drilling and/or completions within the oil & gas industry">
  • Proven experience with well design, casing, fluids, and well control">
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and advanced completion methods">
  • Proficiency with industry software and engineering tools">
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills">
  • Must have full Australian working rights">
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification required">
