Job Overview:

The Lead Safety and Compliance Auditor will spearhead the audit program across rural, transport, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with safety obligations and a solid understanding of accreditation requirements across Work Health and Safety (WHS), Food Safety, Transport, and ISO accreditations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough safety and compliance audits across our rural, transport, and logistics operations.
  • Ensure the audit program supports adherence to industry regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Facilitate the incorporation of audit findings into relevant system improvements across the business.
  • Identify gaps in safety practices and regulatory compliance, recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation and regulatory adherence.
  • Develop the audit capability through coaching and education to meet accreditation and other compliance obligations.
  • Stay updated on relevant accreditation and safety-related requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining non-compliance issues and collaborate with the business to develop and deliver effective corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in conducting safety and compliance audits.
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, Food Safety, Transport, and ISO accreditations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
