Site Reliability Engineering Team Manager

The Shift Manager role is a vital position in our organization, requiring a skilled leader to oversee the Site Reliability Engineering team.

This team member will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our cloud-based platform. Strong leadership skills are essential, with experience in team management, career development, project prioritization, and performance review. The ideal candidate will drive a culture of intolerance to manual activities, promoting automation efforts and initiatives with partner teams.

This role also involves acting as crisis manager, orchestrating actions towards sustainable solutions, analyzing and evaluating existing processes to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies. Additional responsibilities include providing training and support to partner teams, onboarding new hires, and integrating new technologies and automation into the team.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in team management, cloud operations, follow-the-sun, and geographic distributed teams. ITIL v3 knowledge and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are also required. Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes is an advantage.
