Job Opportunity

The cybersecurity compliance specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory adherence and implementing effective security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest level of compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding customer information protection.
  • Evaluate compliance levels with federal regulations and contractual requirements while developing customized system security plans (SSPs) for clients.
  • Develop and implement SSP documentation to meet client security framework needs.
  • Act as project manager for assigned SSP projects.
  • Assist in creating new products/services.
  • Stay updated on security frameworks, regulations, and industry news.
  • Prepare presentations/exhibits to explain framework controls and promote socialization of security practices within clients' cultures.
  • Support other compliance functions, including user awareness training and tabletop incident simulations.
  • Collaborate as an active team member on multi-discipline security projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Achieve Registered Practitioner (RP) designation from Cyber-AB.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or Business Administration.
  • Familiarity with major cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-171/CMMC Level 2, CIS 18, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and others.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Security Platform tools.
  • Desired experience includes management roles, cybersecurity compliance/configuration, technology support, process documentation, and project management expertise.
