Job Title: Compliance Consultant

Job Description

The cybersecurity compliance expert provides regulatory, administrative, and educational support for the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding customer information privacy and security.
  • Evaluate the level of compliance with federal regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Develop customized System Security Plans (SSPs) for clients.
  • Act as Project Manager for each assigned SSP project.
  • Assist in developing new products/services.
  • Research news and publications on security frameworks and regulations.
  • Prepare presentations or exhibits to explain framework controls.
  • Assist with user awareness training and tabletop incident simulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-171 / CMMC Level 2, CIS 18, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Security Platform tools.
  • 5-10 years of management experience and 3-5 years in cybersecurity compliance or configuration.
