Security and Emergency Response Professional

This role involves delivering robust security and emergency response capabilities across midstream assets in accordance with Shell's standards and Australian regulatory requirements.

The successful applicant will coordinate security and emergency response services, provide expert technical advice to stakeholders, and act as the focal point for audits and inspections.

Maintaining key operational plans and building relationships with local authorities are also essential components of this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Security and Emergency Response Services: Coordinate security and emergency response teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide Expert Technical Advice: Offer guidance to stakeholders on security, emergency management, and business continuity.
  • Focal Point for Audits and Inspections: Ensure compliance with Shell's standards and Australian regulations.
  • Maintain Key Operational Plans: Review and update plans to ensure they meet changing needs.
  • Build Relationships: Foster connections with local authorities to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) with MSIC and Queensland Security License.
  • Diplomas in Security Risk Management and Public Safety (Emergency Management), or similar.
  • Extensive experience in LNG or similar regulated industries.
  • Operational experience in emergency services or military at a senior level is highly desirable.
