Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to deliver high-level security and emergency response services across our operations. This role will oversee the implementation of robust security measures, ensuring compliance with maritime and conventional security regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive security and emergency response strategies, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert technical guidance on security, emergency management, and business continuity to stakeholders as needed.
  • Serve as the focal point for audits, inspections, and assurance reviews, ensuring adherence to Shell Safety Environment & Asset Management (SEAM) Standards and the Shell Security & Incident Management Framework.
  • Maintain and review key operational plans, including Security, Maritime Security, Emergency Response, Adverse Weather, and Business Continuity.
  • Foster relationships with local, state, and federal emergency/security services and regulatory agencies to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
  • Support incident investigations and present findings to relevant panels.
  • Perform duties as the designated Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and Authorized Officer for QCLNG Curtis Island.
  • Oversee and assure the alignment of business requirements for contracted security and emergency response services, liaising with contract owners and holders as necessary.
  • Ensure required competency for nominated Emergency Response Team members, coordinating with training providers and regular review of training content. ERT members are sourced from within the operating asset workforce.
  • Liaise with peer groups within the security and emergency management community.

  • Proven experience in security and emergency management, preferably in a similar role or industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of maritime and conventional security regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Capacity to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in English language.
