Heavy Industry Fabrication Role

We are seeking skilled tradespeople to join our team as heavy industry fabrication specialists. You will work on critical equipment projects, contributing to the advancement of mining, construction, transport, and government sectors.

Our projects include the fabrication and installation of fuel lube service modules, water and fuel tanks, elevated work platforms, machinery attachments, ROPS/FOPS/OPGs, and full OEM cabin refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a range of welding processes, including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW, to fabricate high-quality industrial components and structures.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Inspect and test welds to guarantee compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tools.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience as a First Class Welder on heavy fabrication projects.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in various welding processes, including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • High-level safety focus, ensuring personal, team, and workplace safety at all times.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant welding codes and standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demand.
