At QMW Industries, we are looking for skilled professionals to join our team as Heavy Fabricators & First Class Welders. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding heavy industrial components and structures to high quality standards.

You will work on exciting projects for various industries, including mining, earthmoving, construction, transport, and government. Each day offers new designs to work on, opportunities to grow, and the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life.

We require:

  • Fabrication and welding experience with a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a First Class Welder on heavy fabrication projects.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience required.
  • Proficient in a range of welding processes, including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • High-level safety focus, ensuring personal, team, and workplace safety at all times.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
