Sales Executive, Developer Experience Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join our team and drive outstanding growth in DevExp sales. The successful candidate will effectively execute the go-to-market strategy, develop and execute a territory plan, establish and maintain relationships with senior-level clients, lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, serve as a customer advocate, generate high-quality leads, and accurately forecast and report on revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive outstanding growth in DevExp sales by effectively executing the go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and execute a territory plan to sell to customers based on their business needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level clients, particularly C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, managing various stakeholders.
- Serve as a customer advocate, relaying feedback to enhance solutions and sharing insights with product, marketing, and R&D teams.
- Generate high-quality leads and acquire new customers by collaborating with direct sales and channel partners.
- Accurately forecast and report on revenue opportunities and track deal progression.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of enterprise sales experience, ideally in DevOps, Software Development Tools, Application Lifecycle Management, and solution sales.
- Experience utilizing MEDDPICC as a sales methodology.
- A track record of surpassing sales targets and proven techniques for achieving success.
- Ability to establish and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers in DevExp within large enterprise customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Collaborative approach with extended sales teams and channel partners; proactive in driving change and positive disruption.
