Job Description

The role of a Field Service Engineer involves providing technical support for Station Cranes, Water Systems, piping, HVAC, Draft Tube Gates, Water level & flow measuring, Air Systems, Oil Handling System, Fire Protection, HVAC, Workshop Equipment and fire protection systems.

Key responsibilities include planning and mobilization management of purchase orders, creating and updating site documentation such as lifting plans, installation instructions, erection protocols, etc. Additionally, the engineer will be required to prepare technical documentation specific to the Request for Quotation process and evaluate bids/offers.

The engineer must have prior experience in supervision of BoPm installation in the field of large hydro power projects or similar industries, and proficient knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment. A sound knowledge of construction project management best practices is also essential.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, in an international team environment.

Your Profile:
  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Able to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Prior experience in supervision of BoPm installation in the field of large hydro power projects or similar industries.
  • Proficient knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of construction project management best practices.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
