Clinical Coding Opportunity

Accurate and timely coding of inpatient episodes is essential for supporting safe, high-quality patient care. We are seeking a Clinical Coder to join our team and contribute to health funding mechanisms and informed clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign codes using the ICD-10-AM classification system and Solventum Codefinder.
  • Maintain coding accuracy and output in line with NSW Ministry of Health timeframes.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement activities.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy, disease processes, and medical terminology.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous or current work experience in clinical coding is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
