Pain Management Specialist Role

To deliver exceptional care and support to patients experiencing chronic and acute pain, we seek a highly skilled Pain Management Specialist. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to develop and implement effective pain management strategies, providing expert guidance and education to healthcare professionals and patients alike.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans, taking into account individual patient needs and circumstances
  • Provide expert clinical advice and consultation services to healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address pain management challenges, promoting best practice and continuous improvement
  • Design and deliver education programs for healthcare professionals and patients, focusing on evidence-based pain management strategies
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in a related specialty
  • Postgraduate qualifications relevant to pain management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to negotiate and manage conflict
  • Advanced information technology skills, with proficiency in relevant software applications
