Job Title:

Balancing Specialist

This is an ongoing role for a Balancing Technician in a mechanical workshop environment.

About the Role:

  • A position is available for someone with mechanical aptitude and workshop experience, who has completed a training program for dynamic balancing.
  • The ideal candidate will have competency in electric arc welding for carbon and stainless steel.
  • Responsibilities include performing dynamic balancing duties using a Schenck hard bearing balancing machine Model H40 BU, adhering to ISO 21940.11 and client procedures.
  • Dynamic balancing operations and repair maintenance of various equipment, including gearboxes, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, conveyor components, compressors, diesel engines, and bearing fitment techniques.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and workshop experience are essential.
  • Dynamic balancing training and certification are required.
  • Electric arc welding skills for carbon and stainless steel are necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing dynamic balancing operations using Schenck hard bearing balancing machines.
  • Repair and maintenance of various equipment, including gearboxes, pumps, valves, and heat exchangers.

Work Environment:
