Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Balancing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all balancing operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical aptitude and workshop experience, with formal dynamic balancing training and demonstrated competency in the use of hand tools & power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dynamic Balancing duties operating a Schenck hard bearing balancing Machine Model H40 BU as directed in accordance with ISO 21940.11 and IKAD Procedures.
  • Repair exposure to gearboxes, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, conveyor components, compressors, diesel engines, bearing fitment techniques etc.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate action.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Mechanical aptitude with workshop experience.
  • Formal dynamic balancing training.
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of hand tools & power tools.
  • Proven strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
