Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with our clients and their families to develop personalized plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including showering, grooming, and daily hygiene
  • Supporting with everyday activities, such as meal preparation, domestic duties, and community access
  • Assisting with medication management and other health-related tasks
  • Encouraging independence and promoting client autonomy
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to management
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Cert III qualification in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability
  • NDIS Clearance, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Full driver's license with access to your own vehicle
  • Up-to-date Covid-19 vaccinations including booster shot
