Support Professional for Individuals with Disabilities

Key Responsibilities- Administer or assist participants with medications according to their care plan and medication chart requirements.
- Support participants to develop and maintain independence and safety in personal care, health, hygiene, eating, dressing, toileting, and showering activities.
- Develop and implement tailored programs to enhance living skills and abilities, enabling participants to make informed decisions and live independently.
- Utilise internal support plans for participants with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- Monitor clients' progress and maintain accurate records to ensure care plans remain effective and adapted to meet individual needs.
- A Certificate III or IV in Disability and Individual Support, or equivalent experience, is essential for this role.
- Experience working with mental health, complex and challenging behaviours, and high physical support needs is highly valued.
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance are required for the position.
- Applicants must possess a Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one.
- A National Police Check or willingness to obtain is also necessary.
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate, as well as Manual Handling training and certification, are required.
