
Support Enablement Specialist

As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your role will be to provide person-centered support, enabling participants to achieve their goals and aspirations.
The work involves delivering daily supports and routines that promote independence, confidence, and community engagement. You will work closely with participants to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that each interaction is tailored to their unique circumstances.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing individualized support to enable participants to engage in everyday activities
- Assisting participants with transportation and skill development
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be required to maintain accurate records and participate in regular team meetings to discuss participant progress and plan future strategies.
We are seeking applicants who possess strong communication skills, a patient and empathetic demeanor, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications, such as a certificate in disability support or related field, and possess current certifications in first aid, CPR, and working with children.
