Job Overview

The Senior Building Advisor role is a strategic opportunity to contribute to the development of building asset systems, policies, and practices for consistent services across schools.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing project consultancy and team coordination for school capital works and facilities management.
  • Building effective relationships with Principals, school communities, and external consultants to facilitate project delivery.
  • Managing project budgets and reports, including site visitations.
  • Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety documentation is included in project tenders and contractors meet WHS obligations.

About You

To succeed in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including:


  • A proven track record in project management and contract administration in the construction environment.
  • Experience in advising and influencing client managers in capital works and facilities management projects, with the ability to support and challenge as needed.
  • Current knowledge of construction industry developments and statutory provisions and regulations.

Requirements

You must have:


  • A positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
