SENIOR BUILDING CONSULTANT - FULL TIME

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Building Consultant based in the Brisbane area to join our team. Reporting to the Building Consultancy Services Manager this role will see you provide sound decision making and preparation for upcoming work in relation to claims made, along with conducting forensic building inspections to ensure that contractors complete rectification works to a compliant standard and cost.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Compiling and formatting forensic building reports and scopes of work
- Ensuring Annexures are listed in reports and attached to reports as required.
- Scanning and inserting photos
- Preparation of quote requests as required
- Preparation of reports and scope of works to client
- Compliance with agreed processes
- Compliance to client and internal claim handling requirements and timeframes
- Compliance with Privacy Act and company processes
- Accurate and detailed recording of data whilst on site
- Completion of all required documentation
- Providing customer service to all parties with an interest in the job
- Adhering to service standard compliances

Ideally you will possess:

- Cert III Carpentry
- Cert IV Building & Construction
- Licensed Builder Low Rise/Domestic Builder Unlimited
- 10+ years industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of process requirements of administrative hearings and litigation
- Knowledge of data management systems and processes Sound knowledge of the insurance industry (claims lifecycle) including the legislative framework, applicable codes and products.
