Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Excellence Manager will spearhead continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations at a significant facility. This role is vital for executing an operational excellence strategy and leveraging systems and tools to foster a culture of high performance. You will play a key role in achieving the operational objectives and balanced scorecard targets, guiding and overseeing a production team to meet established performance indicators.
- Enhance the skills and capabilities of the production team.
- Lead the Daily Direction Setting process and manage operations across multiple shifts.
- Take responsibility for production outcomes, including safety, quality, reliability, schedule adherence, productivity, and cost management.
- Develop and implement action plans, prioritizing tasks and effectively allocating resources.
- Build and empower autonomous teams, promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Outstanding leadership abilities with a proven history of cultivating a collaborative and accountable operational culture.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in food manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in leading and executing plant reliability and optimization initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, professional, and approachable demeanor.
