Job Title: Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Hays Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting, reviewing, and interpreting key financial data to support business decisions
  • Developing and controlling annual budgets to ensure financial stability
  • Producing monthly financial reports and key performance metrics to inform business strategy
  • Supporting the Chief Financial Officer with projects and focused financial analysis
  • Developing and presenting reports to management and internal stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to financial data management and reporting processes
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial coding and reporting
  • Providing relevant financial information to managers to inform business decisions
  • Investigating budget variances and providing explanations
  • Providing commentary and analysis on company performance to the corporate management team
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting
  • 10 years of industry experience in a Financial Controller position within a manufacturing environment
  • High-level leadership and communication skills within a multi-divisional business
  • Strong manufacturing and inventory accounting experience
  • Financial leadership with a collaborative style working with teams and across multiple divisions
  • Proficient with current Microsoft and business software systems
  • Outstanding financial and management accounting skills to maintain reporting timetables
  • CA/CPA qualified or in progress
  • Experience in the development of ERP/SAP management systems
