As a key member of the Pental Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating the SWING plant to manufacture soap noodles and soap by-products, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage the SWING plant, Soap Drying plant, and associated services to ensure efficient production.
  • Monitor and ensure the safe operation of the boiler room and steam supply to the site.
  • Oversee the unloading of bulk tanker raw materials, ensuring compliance with delivery documentation.
  • Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation at the end of each shift.
  • Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to address any process deviations or non-conformances.
  • Manage process material reordering and wastage control.

Requirements:

  • Boiler attendance certification is essential.
  • Background in mechanical operations or similar trade experience.
  • Understanding of drying plant operations (e.g., atomizers) and plant process control.
  • Knowledge of soap and saponification processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and good computer skills.
  • Current Forklift License is required.
