Assistant Property Manager Role

The Assistant Property Manager is a critical position within our Asset team, supporting the effective operation of our commercial and industrial portfolios.

We are seeking a confident and committed professional who can contribute to an environment of outstanding customer service and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of customer focus with a proven ability to establish strong relationships and provide excellent service to meet customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with internal teams, including finance, operations, and leasing.
  • Liaise with the Facilities Management team and external building contractors regarding technical building issues and value-add opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow budgets.
  • Ensure tenant interactions are recorded in the customer relations system.
  • Prepare written reports and recommendations based on technical building information.
  • Manage tenant arrears.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, developments, and trends.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of working experience in commercial and industrial property sectors.
  • Strong customer focus with exceptional communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make recommendations to senior management.
  • Some understanding of relevant property/leasing laws and property investment principles.
  • Understanding of and ability to interpret technical building information and plans.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Passionate and driven to work in this industry.
