Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

The Asset Management Coordinator will be a senior leader of the Asset Management Engineering team and Spatial Asset Services team. This position involves leading and managing a team of engineering specialists and technical officers responsible for coordinating and implementing asset management practices and improvement activities.

Specifically, the coordinator will develop, implement, and review asset management plans and improvement activities to achieve best practice asset management in line with ISO55000 standards.

Additionally, this role involves identifying, verifying, and cleansing asset data within Council's asset management and spatial systems, ensuring quality data is captured for effective optimisation of asset performance, utilisation, and whole of life costs.

Moreover, the coordinator will provide strategic and technical advice on asset renewal modelling software set up and scenario modelling processes, ensuring effective development of Council's asset renewal programs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading and managing teams of engineering specialists and technical officers;
  • Strong understanding of asset management principles and practices;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in using asset management and spatial systems software;
  • Technical skills in asset renewal modelling software and scenario modelling processes;
