Senior Power Systems Engineering Role

This position requires a high level of expertise in managing complex projects in power transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and HVDC. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of power systems and the ability to lead a team of engineers.

  • Oversee the management of complex projects in power transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and HVDC.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with international counterparts.
  • Manage the development of models, performance of studies, and assessments of results using PSSE, PSCAD, PSS/SINCAL, and/or DIGSILENT.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers.
  • Offer technical support to external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and NER technical rules.
Key Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the power systems industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of power systems in the transmission, distribution, and/or renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.
