Power Systems Engineer Position

This role involves leading a team of engineers in the development and implementation of power systems solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in managing grid connection studies and modeling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with global counterparts, overseeing model development, performing studies, and assessing results using tools like PSS/E, PSCAD, PSS/Sincal, and DIgSILENT. They will also provide technical supervision and mentoring to a team of engineers, as well as offer technical support to external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing grid connection studies and modeling
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with global counterparts
  • Overseeing model development, performing studies, and assessing results
  • Providing technical supervision and mentoring to a team of engineers
  • Offering technical support to external stakeholders

Requirements for this position include:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • Deep knowledge of power systems within transmission, distribution, and/or renewable energy sectors
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities
