About the Organisation

Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) is a leading player in the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects in Victoria, Australia. With a portfolio of projects worth over $30 billion, RPV is responsible for the development, planning, and construction of some of the state's most complex and ambitious projects, including the Metro Tunnel, Regional Rail Revival, and Melbourne Airport Rail.

As a key part of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) and Victoria's Big Build, RPV works closely with the Department of Transport to plan and deliver the future of the rail network in Melbourne's west, including the Western Rail Plan.

About the Role

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a senior leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction and vision for RPV and its workforce. Reporting to the Director General, MTIA, the CEO is accountable for all aspects of strategy and governance, including front-end development, program management, contract negotiation, and contract management.

The CEO will drive a high-performing culture that fosters innovation, continuous improvement, and change management. This role requires a strong commercial acumen, ability to navigate complex environments, and a passion for people and community engagement.
