Job Opportunity: Support Worker

This role is focused on providing personalized support to individuals with personal care needs, promoting dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, assisting with daily tasks and activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive support with personal care activities, including showering, toileting, and continence management
  • Ensuring safe manual handling practices are implemented using equipment such as hoists and transfer aids
  • Collaborating with clinical teams, families, and peers to implement positive behaviour support strategies
  • FOLLOWING individual care plans to address health needs, including epilepsy and wound care
  • Administering medication safely and accurately according to medication management plans
  • Preparing and supporting meal times according to mealtime management plans
  • Maintaining a clean and safe living environment through light cleaning, laundry, and shopping assistance
  • Assisting with community access, social inclusion, and everyday outings
