About the Business

Zuster is a leading Australian designer and manufacturer of bespoke, high-end furniture. With a reputation for quality craftsmanship and innovation, we are experiencing strong growth in our upholstery division and are seeking an experienced Furniture Upholsterer to join our team in Thomastown, Victoria.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled upholsterer specialising in foaming, fitting, and upholstering furniture. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across residential and commercial ranges, with a strong focus on customisation, problem-solving, and precision craftsmanship.

You'll be part of a supportive team environment where your expertise contributes to creating premium, handcrafted furniture.

Skills & Experience

We're seeking an upholsterer with:

  • Strong experience in foaming, fitting, and upholstering high-quality furniture
  • An eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve customised designs
  • Industry experience in high-end or bespoke furniture (preferred)
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Hours

Standard: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am – 1:40 pm (38-hour week)

Flexible: Option to work a 4-day, 38-hour week with Fridays as optional overtime
