Senior Structural Engineer Position

This is a senior-level structural engineering position that involves leading multidisciplinary projects and providing technical expertise in structural engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex multidisciplinary projects from initiation to completion.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion and quality deliverables.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards.
  • At least 8 years' experience in an engineering consultancy.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Highly developed problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
