Beyond technical leadership, you\'ll be entrusted with the opportunity to mentor and grow a talented team of engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.At SCP Consulting, we are committed to your professional growth, offering ample opportunities for career advancement and skill development as part of our collaborative and forward-thinking team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the design and engineering of structural projects.Conduct detailed design calculations and produce engineering sketches.Act as Job Manager for specific projects, overseeing all phases of project delivery.Provide technical advice to clients and internal teams.Perform site inspections and carry out building surveys and dilapidation inspections.Supervise and mentor engineers at various levels, ensuring the quality and technical accuracy of their work.Liaise with clients, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.Ensure compliance with engineering standards, including I.E. Aust requirements.Contribute to innovative solutions to client challenges and technical problems.Maintain healthy relationships with clients on behalf of SCP.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor of Engineering, Civil or Structural.Graduate Membership with I.E. Aust (or eligible for membership).
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, including hands-on experience in a consulting engineering office.Proven leadership experience in a technical role, managing and mentoring a team.Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply them to complex projects.Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.Why Join Us?
