Role Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Lending Professional to join our team in Sydney. As a Business Banker, you will be responsible for providing financial solutions to Australian small businesses. Your primary goal will be to cultivate strong connections with our communities and customers by building deep relationships, having compelling propositions and delivering exceptional execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Originate and initiate the fulfilment of business products for small business banking customers including commercial lending up to $1m
- Conduct non-face-to-face needs-based conversations for clients with an identified new opportunity
- Complete proactive outbound calls to existing small business banking clients supported by the Customer Engagement Engine and Next Best Conversations
- Provide high-quality, timely and exceptional support & customer service when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with customers delivering exceptional customer service to complete loan settlement tasks including but not limited to obtaining additional information, order valuations, arrangement documentation

Requirements

- Experience in commercial lending and/or B2B sales
- Excellent customer service skills (both face-to-face and non-face-to-face)
- Sound financial analysis skills and commercial acumen
- Experience in facilitating conversations with customers to help understand their needs, managing a pipeline of opportunities to ensure we meet customers' expectations and in facilitating proactive customer contact
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation
- Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willing to obtain this within 6 months
