About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our Data Change team at Macquarie. As a Data Modeler, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of Data Transformation initiatives across our Commodities and Global Markets group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and capture data needs
  • Develop and maintain data models across all lines of business, collaborating with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and Data Engineers
  • Identify and synthesize disparate requirements, translating business concepts into understandable and usable strategic data models
  • Optimize data accessibility and usage, ensuring data is usable and accessible for business stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5+ years' experience as a Data Modeler
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements
  • Extensive experience with data platform end-to-end processing of data from ingestion through to reporting and analytics
  • Strong SQL skills
