We are seeking a skilled Private Credit Associate to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in investment banking, private equity or leverage finance and private credit roles.
As a Private Credit Associate, you will work closely with small deal teams to identify opportunities, conduct due diligence, structure and execute investments across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Coverage and Origination: Support the development of investment ideas across the product suite of Credit via early engagement with relevant parties.
- Due Diligence and Execution: Engage in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses; Participate in structuring, negotiating and documenting investments.
- Investment Monitoring & Exits: Actively monitor existing investments in the portfolio including serving as observer on company boards.
- 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or leverage finance and private credit roles.
- Strong academic record with Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Management, Business Studies, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline from a distinguished academic institution.
- Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for investing and analyzing businesses and industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
