About this role

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our Asia-Pacific Private Credit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and investing in new opportunities across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

Origination and Investment Sourcing:

  • Assist with sourcing new investment opportunities through local banks, management teams, industry sources, and investment brokers
  • Conduct independent fundamental credit analysis, due diligence, and research on new investments

Active Participation in the Investment Process:

  • Participate in the evaluation of new investments, including review of due diligence reports and preparation of internal investment reports
  • Present investment recommendations to the Portfolio Manager(s) and the Investment Committee

Deal Execution and Monitoring:

  • Champion selected investment opportunities through the investment process until completion
  • Negotiate and review transaction legal documentation

Leverage BlackRock's Wider Platform:

  • Develop relationships across the organization, including US and European private credit teams, and the global BlackRock Private Market platform

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent corporate finance and credit skills demonstrated through prior relevant experience (4+ years)
  • Strong financial modelling and legal documentation skills
  • Motivated team player and flexible in approach with ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
