As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective communication and media strategies that drive behavior change and support our mission to preserve and protect Queensland's biosecurity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Design and execute communication plans that engage stakeholders, promote our programs, and achieve our key performance indicators.
  • Build and Maintain Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of our communication and media strategies.
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and disseminate high-quality communication materials, including media releases, newsletters, web content, and presentations, to diverse audiences.

Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: A relevant qualification in communication and/or media from a recognized tertiary institution is highly regarded.
  • Eligibility: You must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency status, or possess a visa allowing you to work in Australia.
  • Additional Requirements: A current 'C' class drivers license is required.
