As a Domestic Violence Support Specialist with DVConnect, you will play a vital role in delivering our services to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support service users in crisis situations, providing them with immediate assistance and guidance.
- Collaborate with crisis intervention counsellors to ensure comprehensive support is provided.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- More than 2 years' experience in social and community services.
- Confident computer and telephone multitasking skills, with the ability to efficiently type case notes during calls.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to handle high-stress situations effectively.
- Personal or professional understanding of domestic, family, and sexual violence.
