Team Leader - Women's and Children's Refuge
Location: Palmerston, NT
Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: SCHADS Level 7 ($110,000 - $115,000 + super)

An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced and dedicated professional to lead a newly established family violence refuge for women and children in Palmerston. This service, part of Darwin's first integrated, end-to-end family violence program, collaborates closely with an established women's refuge in Darwin and a newly formed outreach team.

About the Role

As the Team Leader, you will oversee a team of seven skilled practitioners, including case managers, children and youth specialists, intake practitioners, and support workers. You will provide leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed crisis support and recovery services to women and children affected by family violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve program goals.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of crisis response, safety planning, and case management services.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and service providers to enhance program outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with organisational policies and relevant legislation.
What We're Looking For
  • A Bachelor's degree (mandatory).
  • Extensive leadership experience in family violence crisis settings.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and crisis response.
  • Ability to foster a supportive and high-performing team environment.
  • This is a female-only position, as per the requirements of the role.
What's on Offer
