Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Response & Connection Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Sexual Violence Support Service, you will provide high-quality support to individuals who have been impacted by sexual violence and assault. Your primary responsibility will be to assist inbound callers by providing crisis counselling, information, risk assessment, and referral pathways to ongoing specialist counselling.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide crisis counselling and risk assessment to individuals impacted by sexual violence and assault
* Develop and implement effective referral pathways to specialist counselling services
* Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate smooth referrals and ensure continuity of care
* Maintain accurate records and case notes in accordance with organizational policies and procedures

Requirements
* Completed bachelor's degree in human services, social work, counselling, or psychology
* Minimum 2 years' experience in community and human services with a focus on trauma-informed practice
* Strong understanding of the effects, causes, and dynamics of domestic, family, and sexual violence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client groups
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organisational goals
