Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers.

This role involves precision management to contribute to the success of your team and day-to-day warehouse and distribution centre operations.

  • Manage the overall performance of an operational account, including responsibility for a pre-agreed contract within a site to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Plan, organize, staff, and direct warehouse activities at the site to ensure all material and equipment is available and maintained to support operations.
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) in cost management, productivity, customer service, and profit.
  • Ensure teams deliver against customer, site and people KPIs.
  • Assist with customer onboarding, retention and operational excellence; collaborating at a contract level.
  • Drive productivity via engagement activities and continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed productivity targets.
  • Contribute information required for tenders and proposals to support closing of new business.
  • Prepare and present required customer updates.
  • Prepare required P&L with supporting commentary related to financial and service variances.
  • Train and develop your team to ensure robust succession planning.
  • Liaise with internal support resources and external providers (carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers).
