The Retail Manager plays a pivotal role in driving store operations, fostering an exceptional customer experience, and promoting sales growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead all retail restaurant operations to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock management, and implement efficient shrinkage reduction strategies.
  • Develop effective in-store merchandising plans to maximize product placement and align with customer preferences.
  • Utilize retail management systems, POS systems, and stock management software to streamline operations.
  • Supervise staff recruitment, management, and training to ensure seamless execution of store functions.
  • Implement health and safety regulations and maintain compliance with food hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts, set pricing, and analyze sales figures to inform business decisions.
  • Establish relationships with local suppliers and manage advertisement and marketing policies to enhance store visibility.
  • Oversee cash management procedures, including daily reconciliation and deposits.
  • Develop strategic purchasing and marketing plans to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Retail Management.
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in commercial retail management at a managerial level.
  • At least 12 months' people management experience.
  • Proven skills in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage.
  • Ability to adapt to changing store environments and instill a culture of excitement.
  • Strong operational management background.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
