Job Role: Customer and Trading Manager

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to manage performance and capability.

  • Lead a small team of managers to ensure seamless store operations every day.
  • Assume accountability for the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager present with responsibility for the entire shop.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring customers receive outstanding service.
  • Manage employees effectively, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and scheduling/pay accuracy.

This position also involves working closely with other stores within close-knit networks, providing support and assistance as needed.

Essential Skills:
  • Previous line management experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to deliver KPIs and other performance indicators.
  • Ability to manage employee relations issues, including disciplinaries and performance management.
  • Comfortable leading operations independently, with minimal supervision.
