About the Role:

Job Description

A leading organisation is seeking a Chief People Officer to drive its human resources strategy and lead its people development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a transformative leader with executive-level experience in HR, organisational development, and workforce planning.

  • Actively promote and demonstrate a commitment to ensuring everyone returns home safely
  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking global people strategy aligned with business goals
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to unlock synergies and improve organisational effectiveness
  • Lead the design and delivery of strategic learning and development initiatives that support workforce requirements and operational readiness
  • Foster a values-driven, inclusive, and psychologically safe culture that inspires high performance and belonging across all levels of the organisation
  • Develop diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategies with measurable outcomes and clear accountability
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistency, risk management, and continuous improvement in HR policies and practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Executive-level experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development, and Workforce Planning
  • Proven experience leading people strategy within a national and/or global, matrixed organisation preferably from within engineering/manufacturing domains
  • Acute business acumen, pragmatism, and commercial mindset
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at executive and board level and align cross-functional teams around shared goals
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
