Chief Digital Officer

This is a pivotal leadership role, driving enterprise-wide digital transformation and shaping the technology roadmap for a leading professional services firm.

We are seeking an accomplished ICT leader with extensive experience in complex and/or large enterprise environments and evidenced experience in building capability and leading through change.

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering enterprise-wide digital transformation, including cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and digital platforms.
  • A deep understanding of IT infrastructure, service management, project delivery, and business applications is essential.
  • Strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and people leadership skills are required to drive technology operations and strategic outcomes.

Broad accountability, combining technical expertise, commercial acumen, and people leadership, will be key to success in this role. You'll have the opportunity to engage at the Executive level and influence strategic outcomes.

About The Role:

  • Leading the design and delivery of enterprise-wide digital and technology strategy.
  • Driving capability and providing strategic leadership across IT governance, enterprise architecture, vendor management, business application and solutions, infrastructure, and service delivery—supporting business growth and enabling digital transformation.
  • Championing innovation through emerging technologies, including AI adoption and management.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Managing strategic vendor relationships and supplier performance.
  • Driving operational planning and program management for large-scale digital initiatives.
  • Providing strategic leadership and coaching to the IT leadership team to foster performance and engagement.
  • Providing business acumen across contract management, governance and resource planning.

About You:

  • You must be an accomplished ICT leader with extensive experience in complex and/or large enterprise environments and evidenced experience in building capability and leading through change.
  • A deep understanding of IT infrastructure, service management, project delivery, and business applications is essential.
  • Emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and digital platforms require your attention and focus.
  • Candidate must be able to engage at the Executive level and influence strategic outcomes.
  • Fostering performance and engagement within high-performing teams is also crucial.
