Road Services Team Lead

The role of Road Services Team Lead is to provide strategic leadership and direction to Council's Road Services team, ensuring the successful delivery of road maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate the execution of Council's Road Preventative Maintenance program, including grading and patrol activities.
- Coordinate timely inspections and responses of Council's local road network in accordance with Council's Customer Request System and Road Management Plan.
- Effectively manage and coordinate Roads staff involved in the operations of Council's Road Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Work collaboratively as a key team member of the Infrastructure and Delivery Department, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and enhancing service quality.
- Provide input and assistance to the Manager Works and Coordinator Road Services in preparing budget estimates and recommendations for annual road capital improvement programs.
- Hold a trade equivalent qualification in Civil Construction or possess substantial relevant experience.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Road Management Plans and associated policies and procedures.
- Have previous experience in managing teams and balancing competing work priorities.
- Be able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Hold a current Victorian Driver Licence or state equivalent.
