About the Role:

This role offers a challenging opportunity to lead a team of professionals in road services and infrastructure management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs for local roads, including grading and patrol activities.
  • Foster effective collaboration among staff members involved in operations of Council's Road Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Prioritize tasks and ensure timely inspections and response to customer requests.
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure and Delivery Department to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
  • A trade equivalent qualification in Civil Construction or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of road management plans and associated policies.
  • Prior experience in managing teams and handling shifting priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • A current Victorian Driver Licence is essential.
